★ Featured

A beloved boutique hotel occupying a restored 1817 cotton warehouse steps from the Savannah River.

River Street Inn is housed in a meticulously restored 1817 sugar warehouse on the famous cobblestone waterfront. Its 86 rooms and suites blend exposed-brick walls, hardwood floors, and period furnishings with modern amenities. The rooftop terrace offers panoramic views of the Savannah River and the Talmadge Memorial Bridge.

History

Originally constructed in 1817 as a sugar warehouse during Savannah's antebellum boom, the building served the cotton trade for much of the 19th century before falling into disuse. It was painstakingly restored in the 1980s and converted into one of Savannah's most recognisable boutique hotels.
